I graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I have my master's degree in teacher leadership and my Certified Academic Language Therapist certificate. This is my 24th year teaching! I am from Georgetown, and love teaching at 'home!' I have a wonderful husband, and three terrific boys ages 18, 16, and 13. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and cheering on the Bears. Sic'Em!

I am proud and grateful to be part of the GISD and The McCoy family. I have over twenty years of experience. This will be my fifth year as an Interventionist. I have previously taught PPCD, Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th,5th, and content mastery, along with a self-contained English class at the high school level. I have genuinely enjoyed every grade level I have taught. I completed my college education at U.T. Austin. Hook 'Em! I continually look for ways to learn and grow in my field to provide your child with the best learning experience possible. I will do my best to inspire your child to lead, grow, and serve.
I have a wonderful husband and two amazing children, Charlie (16) and Courtney (15). Our family wouldn't be complete without our four crazy cats. They have kept us entertained over the years with their curiosity and antics.
I enjoy going to the movies, reading, cooking, playing tennis, traveling, and playing games in my spare time.
